Level Installed - Will it "Settle"

I installed a rough Country spacer on the front of my 2016 yesterday. Without shims I ended up with 3" of lift from a 2.5 spacer.

My question: will it settle a half inch? If so how long does it take to fully settle?

It will stay where it is. A 2.5 is supposed to create a 3" lift.

What most people do not do after installing a level kit is to get the upper and lower control arm bushings back into their neutral position. This is accomplished by having the vehicle sitting on level ground and then loosening the upper and lower control arms, bouncing the vehicle a few times and then tightening everything back up. Failure to do this puts excessive preload on the bushings and makes for incorrect ride height. If you don't do this it's not the bushings settling, it's the bushings deteriorating. This practice is really suspension 101 but surprisingly no one seems to practice it.

GET THE ALIGNMENT DONE ASAP. Lifting the front end throws off the alignment in a big way and just driving it a short time can kill a set of tires in a heartbeat. Also with the alignment begin out it could very well make the front end sit higher than it is supposed to.
