I began to dislike the frameless (beam-style) wipers used on the Tundra about day three. It rains a lot here in the Pacific Northwest, and all the different brands I’ve tried; OEM and just about every aftermarket alternative I can get my hands on, have very soon begun to streak in the middle of the wiper (where I’m looking through) and because of the small blade, they quickly take a set and begin to skip, which decreases their efficiency that much more. I switched to 22” wipers on both driver and passenger side so I can swap them when the driver side begins to streak.
I only have two demands of windshield wipers: silence and streak-free performance. I used to get that with the old ANCO frame style blades.
Is anyone aware of any frame style wiper blades that will adapt to the existing Tundra wiper arms?
Lacking that, is anyone aware of any existing direct replacement wiper arm that will allow the use of the frame style blades?
